Atherstone - Shrovetide Football on Shrove Tuesday in February. The game is played with water-filled ball decorated with local football team's colours. The game lasts 2 hours from kick off at 3pm. Ryton on Dunsmore - Potato Day is held around the beginning of February at Ryton Organic Gardens. Over 100 varieties of seed potato for sale, advice, displays, cookery demonstrations, talk on potatoes & pesticides.

Stratford on Avon - Mop Fair, 11am-midnight on October 12 unless it is a Sunday. Once a hiring fair where people went to look for work and employers looked for staff. People hoping to become servants would carry a mop to advertise themselves. Now a fun fair opened by the Mayor who processes into town from the Town Hall and read the official proclamation. Welford-on-Avon - Maypole dancing around the permanent maypole on the second or third Saturday in May.
