Producing the Goods
Broad Street Restaurant, Lyme Regis
was opened by Franny Owen in May 2005. From the outset she decided to source all her ingredients from within a 20 mile radius of Lyme Regis, and in doing so, form a close relationship with her suppliers. Head chef Jake Dodds lists the provenance of each recipe’s ingredients from his numerous small suppliers. Eventually he would like them to tell him what is available and write the menu accordingly.
