Orchards, Trees & Orchard Produce
Wiltshire
In the early 1900s, the headmaster of Corsley School, Mr Latham, began gardening classes which included planting apple trees and grafting. Some ex pupils remembered planting apple pips, and it is thought that the trees that now grow in the school grounds and village gardens may be the result. The variety has been named the Corsley Pippin.
