Producing the Goods

Fruit and veg

More perishable goods can still be souvenirs, either to try when you are in the place, or to take home and eat soon afterwards (or to give to your friends). What better than the local specialty fruits and vegetables? Organic watercress from John Hurd in Longbridge Deverill (Wiltshire) or Kentish Cobnuts; Westmorland Damson, apples from Somerset, Hereford or Worcestershire; lately garlic has become closely linked with the Isle of Wight - there is an annual garlic festival which shows off the range.
